About the role

Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support project managers, site teams, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. This role will help coordinate project activities, track progress, maintain project plans, communicate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure projects are completed and properly closed out.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project managers and project teams with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities.
  • Review master schedules and work orders, establish priorities, and adjust schedules based on project specifications, priorities, and the availability of workers, materials, and equipment.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, project teams, and task members to determine project progress and identify additional follow-up needs.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and external vendors through email and phone.
  • Coordinate and work directly with vendors to support project needs.
  • Conduct onsite check-ins and coordinate with client teams.
  • Update and maintain project plans.
  • Provide general administrative support, including:
  • Monitoring calendars
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Making travel and meeting arrangements
  • Entering time
  • Filing expense reports
  • Compile reports regarding project progress and downtime and distribute them to appropriate personnel.
  • Help ensure project resources are being appropriately allocated and that project activities are completed efficiently.
  • Support projects through completion and closeout.
  • Required Qualifications2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
  • Ability to work successfully under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of contacts, from technical staff to senior management.
  • Ability to analyze information and solve problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in situations involving ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Project. Additional project management training or education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
