The Enterprise Services Customs Operations (ESCO) is seeking a professional with experience in recordkeeping and data analytics, preferably in an exporter/importer environment, or with a background in Customs Brokerage or Freight Forwarding. The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing day-to-day transactional support to achieve targeted results in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate should be a team player who is eager to learn and adapt to the company's evolving business needs. Your duties include, but are not limited to: Preparing and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to Customs activities, such as shipping documents and compliance reports. Collects and analyzes data related to import declarations and in support of duty mitigation strategy Identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies in data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assesses the accuracy of documentation provided by Customs Broker to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures. Preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Assists in monitoring and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, including export and import laws. Assists in identifying and mitigating risks related to trade compliance. Works closely with stakeholders such as procurement, production, logistics, and finance to support compliance initiatives.
Required Skills:
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to respond efficiently and effectively to time-critical issues with competing / conflicting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft data applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP based systems
  • Ability to work in a remote team environment
