Thispositionassistsinplanning, coordinating, andprovidingtutoringservicestosupportinstructional programs. Coordinatesacademictutorialsincludingindividualizedandgrouptutoring, tutor/mentortraining, andacademicskillsworkshops. Attendstrainingsandprovidetrainingtootherstaffwhennecessary. Assistsstudentsonhowtousetechnologytoeffectivelyutilizecampusresources. Organizesandconductsworkshopsforstudents. Assistsstudentsinusingcomputer-aidedinstructionandadditionalcomputerresourcestohelpthem develop basic skills in that particular subject area. Worksasateammemberwithotherstaffmemberstosupportstudent’sacademicsuccess. Participatesinappropriateon-campusstaffdevelopmentopportunities. Maintains records of student tutoring sessions. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or in the area of tutoring; Experience in teaching and tutoring in related subjects; Demonstrate ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to work flexible hours and to embrace change; ability to follow written and oral directions and to work with minimal supervision.
