Medical Assistant (MA) Corrections Nextaff, a leading healthcare staffing agency in Arizona, is currently hiring dependable and professional Medical Assistants (MA) for correctional facilities throughout the Phoenix Valley area. This is a W2 position (not 1099) offering consistent scheduling, weekly pay, and full support from our team. Schedule & Assignment Details Day & Night Shift Openings Available Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly Minimum 13-week commitment required Weekly pay every Friday (Work week runs MondaySunday) Overtime opportunities when offered by the facility and accepted by the employee This is a great opportunity for Medical Assistants seeking stability, structured scheduling, and dependable income.

You do not need prior corrections experience. Candidates with at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 2 years will receive:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 2 years
  • High School Diploma or GEDCurrent CPR/BLS Certification
  • Professional attitude and reliability
  • Supporting Documentation / Additional Qualifications Required
  • Copy of certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Health Care Training Program
  • Copy of current, completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators
  • Copy of current First Aid Certification
  • Copy of immunization records
