Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM)
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- End to End architecture of the OSM Solution both technicaland functional OSM solutions
- Responsible for Discovery sessions with the customer
- Evaluate/manage scope, schedule, risk, opportunities, issues
- Project estimation and resource planning to execute theproject
- Gathering Requirements and high level solution design
- Communication of technical details, best practices, limitations, etc
- Provide leadership, guidance, and recommendations to teammembers, partners, management, and customers
- Configure, tune, and test for functionality, performanceand capacity
- Provide Hardware sizing and configuration recommendationsfor Development, Test and Production
- Customizations as required
- Evaluate and integrate the BSS/OSS stack.
- Integrate the BSS/OSS stack to other 3 rd partysystems as needed by the project requirements.
- Knowledge transfer to the customer
- Documentation on Methods and Procedures for Operations& Maintenance
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of various domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTVHave experience working with Design Studio for buildingcartridges for OSM, UIM and ASAPFamiliarity with Oracle Customer Relationship Manager(Siebel) and Oracle Billing and Revenue Manager (BRM)
- Basic understanding of SOA, AIA and PIPS for
- Communications industry
- Basic understanding of eTom standards
- Experience with Weblogic Administration, Bridging and SAFconfigurations.
- Experience with High Availability and clustering
- Familiar with one or more of the following: SOAP, HTTP, SSH, TCP/IP, TELNET, CORBA, RMI, LDAP, JMS, SSL, SNMP, SMS, SQL, JAVA, XSLT, XQUERYAble to Architect Solutions
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree, or equivalent work experience
