Position Summary: The idealcandidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have adesire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, student employmentposition with no benefits. This student employee will serve as a customer servicerepresentative, staffing the front desk for the Recreation and Wellness Centeron the Wellesley campus, and will have some duties in the Athletics Department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Greet every student, staff, and faculty member that enters the RWC; Instruct RWC users on how to sign in and out; Assist in maintaining the equipment in RWC (wiping down machines, etc); File and organize documents; Assist students with questions that they may have. Required Qualifications: A working experience in customer service; Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity; Experience working in a diverse environment; Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students; Responsible; Knowledge of gym operations.
