Job Type: Full-time; in-person.
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all duties required to maintain exploitation/exploration activities, operated rig line, and prepare, propose and gather operated and non-operated well proposals with outside parties as to exploration and exploitation activities of Company. Coordinate the activities of field brokers in preparation of ownership reports, regulatory application preparation and filing, and other broker involved activities. Negotiate farmout agreements, letter agreements, and operating agreements with outside parties. Obtain internal approvals for same. Verify title prior to negotiating acquisitions of leasehold interest from outside parties. Prepare purchase agreements and assignments and close the acquisitions timely. Negotiate and prepare purchases of producing properties and leasehold interests that involve exploration prospects. Prepare and file applications and testify, as necessary, at Corporation Commission on protested and non-protested dockets for all Company applications (Spacing, Pooling, Multiunit Horizontal, Location Exception, Increased Density, etc.) and other regulatory matters. Job Specifications and Qualifications At least 7 years of Landman experience and Certified Petroleum Landman required. Degree in Petroleum Land Management, Business Management or related field preferred. Microsoft 365 and Excel experience required.
