Job Description: Job Description We are a well-established custom injection molding company seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician/Supervisor to lead our 1st shift molding department. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll spend your time on the production floor supporting the team, solving molding problems, improving processes, and ensuring quality parts are produced safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do: Supervise and lead first shift molding personnel Troubleshoot injection molding processes and quality issues Perform mold start-ups, process development, and process optimization Coordinate mold changes and verify successful start-ups Reduce scrap, downtime and cycle times Establish and maintain documented process parameters Train and mentor operators, technicians, and material handlers Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Scheduling Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on injection molding process experience Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience establishing and optimizing molding processes Knowledge of engineering resins and commodity materials Experience with mold setup, start-ups, and process validation Ability to read part drawings and understand quality requirements Excellent communication and leadership skills
