Overview: Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Medical Dosimetrist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Seattle VA Medical Center located at 1660 South Columbian Way. Responsibilities Perform dosimetry functions under MDCB certification Receive direction from VA Radiation Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist Design treatment plans (SRS/SRT, Hyper Arc, IMRT, SBRT, 2D/3D, IGRT)Assist with simulations and tumor localization (CT, MRI, PET-CT fusions)Oversee fabrication of beam-modifying and immobilization devices Implement treatment plans and verify correct use of devices Perform and document dosimetric calculations Support Medical Physicist in QA, calibration, and radiation protection
Qualifications: MDCB certification Minimum 2 years of continuous recent experience
Experience required: 2 years: QA procedures documentation 1 year: ACR/APEX certified healthcare system 1 year: Varian True Beam with Rapid Arc 1 year: IGRT with Cone Beam CT (TG-142 standards)3 years: Eclipse planning system, ARIA system (SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT modalities)3 years: GE CT Simulator (or equivalent)No sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
