About the role
Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue is seeking foster parents to provide temporary homes for rabbits in our care. We especially need long-term fosters available from June through July and beyond. Fostering is one of the most direct ways to save bunny lives while requiring minimal effort on your part.
What You'll Do:
Open your home to a rabbit in need. That's it. Provide a safe, indoor space where they can decompress and feel loved while we handle everything else. You don't need experience. Just provide the home.
What We Provide:
Everything. Veterinary care, food, supplies, training, guidance, and ongoing support. We pay for all of it. You simply host the rabbit and give them affection. Ideal For: Anyone with a safe indoor space and a willing heart. First-time rabbit caregivers, experienced bunny lovers, or anyone in between. No experience necessary. Commitment: Long-term placements preferred, especially June through July and longer. Flexible arrangements welcome.
Location:
Connecticut (indoor home required) Interested? Apply here: https://www.everybunnycountsct.org/foster Questions? Email info@everybunnycountsct.org
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
