About the role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant specializing in Finacle Treasury, SWIFT payments, and confirmation and payment systems to support banking and financial services technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SWIFT payment processing, Python development, Unix/Linux environments, and Artificial Intelligence, including exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support payment processing solutions within banking and financial services environments.
Work with SWIFT messaging and payment systems, supporting payment initiation, processing, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement workflows.
Support Finacle Treasury and its integration with payment and confirmation systems.
Develop and maintain Python-based applications, scripts, and automation solutions for payment processing and operational efficiency.
Work with Unix/Linux environments to troubleshoot application issues, analyze logs, and support production operations.
Contribute to AI-led modernization initiatives using Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive banking and payment operations using Python and AI-driven solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and banking stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Support system integration, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
Ensure payment processing solutions adhere to applicable banking standards, security requirements, and operational controls.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across project teams.
Required Skills (Must-Have)
SWIFT Payments: Strong hands-on experience with SWIFT messaging, payment processing, and banking payment systems.
Python: Proficiency in Python programming, scripting, application development, and automation.
Agentic
AI:
Exposure to or experience with Agentic AI concepts, intelligent agents, and AI-driven workflow automation.
Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in enterprise banking or financial services technology environments.
