About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee accounting, payroll, financial reporting, treasury, and cash management while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial information. This individual will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, improving financial processes, supporting strategic planning, and providing meaningful financial insights that help guide business decisions. What You'll Do:
Lead the Company's accounting, payroll, treasury, financial reporting, and cash management functions across multiple business entities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Develop, enhance, and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures that support operational excellence and scalability Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, cash flow analysis, and financial performance reporting Partner closely with Operations and executive leadership to analyze business results, identify trends, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives Prepare executive-level financial reporting and present meaningful analyses to senior leadership Manage banking relationships, financing activities, lender reporting, and debt compliance Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors Review balance sheet reconciliations, significant cash transactions, major disbursements, contracts, and credit arrangements to ensure financial integrity and appropriate risk management Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and payroll team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth Participate in special projects, financial system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives across the organization
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Ten or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, budgeting, and audit processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
