Seamstress/Seamster Position We are seeking a skilled part-time Seamstress/Seamster for an established company on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL. This position will include completing alterations, cutting fabric, measuring customers for custom clothes/alterations, operating a sewing machine, and hand sewing.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9am to 6pm & Saturday, 9am to 4pm flexible schedule - Part time

Pay: $20-30/hr depending on experience Job Duties of the Seamstress/Seamster: Taking accurate measurements using a measuring tape. Safely operate a variety of sewing equipment. Complete alterations of regular types and evening dresses and wedding dresses Cut different types and styles of fabrics. Operating a sewing machine. Skills and Qualifications of the Seamstress/Seamster: Proven experience operating a sewing machine. Must be able to use and read measuring tapes. Knowledge of fabrics. High attention to detail. Very good hand-eye coordination. This is a Temp-to-Hire position and the client offers benefits once Hired In. This is a drug-free workplace.
