The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation of the hospice's performance, including staff performance, and ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations. This role involves the interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of new staff, as well as the development and support of hospice service philosophies and standards that align with national hospice and palliative care standards. The Executive Director will also be tasked with supervising staff, facilitating ancillary contracts, and consulting with various stakeholders to exceed patient expectations. Candidates for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company should have a Baccalaureate degree in nursing, health service administration, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A Registered Nurse with licensure in the relevant locations is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hospice supervisory or management experience in the day-to-day operations of home health, hospice, or a related healthcare organization. Proven leadership skills in supervising and directing professional and administrative personnel in a multi-site home health or hospice environment are essential.
