About the role

Our client, a growing medical training and healthcare products company, is looking for a high-energy, relationship-focused Regional Account Manager to manage and grow their Southwest region. This is a field-based, consultative sales role focused on developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and driving growth throughout the Southwest region. The right person will enjoy being out in the field, meeting customers face-to-face, learning their needs, conducting product demonstrations and trainings, and building long-term relationships. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is motivated, personable, competitive, and comfortable taking ownership of a territory while working independently.
What You’ll Do:
  • Own sales performance and revenue growth across the Southwest region
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for expansion
  • Prospect for and develop new business through outbound activity, networking, referrals, events, and other channels
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company goals and revenue targets
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and activity updates
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events as needed
  • Partner with internal sales, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and product offerings
  • Travel regularly throughout the Southwest region to meet with customers and prospects
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of clinical sales experience, ideally with experience in the hospital setting.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong account management and business development skills
  • Comfortable managing a sales territory independently and building a pipeline from the ground upExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and analyzing sales data to manage performance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must reside within the assigned territory and be within reasonable proximity to a major airport
