W2 Contract: Software Test Analyst 5
Location: Lansing, MI (candidates within 90 miles)Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week We are looking for an experienced Software Test Analyst to support manual and automated testing for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities: Design and execute manual and automated test cases. Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Develop test plans, strategies, test data, and testing reports. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and UAT testing. Automate web applications using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Perform SQL-based data validation and testing. Identify, document, and track defects using Azure Dev Ops. Perform accessibility/ADA testing and support application quality initiatives. Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills: 5+ years of software testing/QA experience. Strong manual and automated testing experience. Java test automation experience. Selenium and/or Playwright. API testing using Postman, RESTAssured, or similar tools. Strong SQL experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server. Azure Dev Ops Testing Module. TestNG and Gherkin experience. Git/version control experience. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related field. Preferred Playwright with Java. JMeter or Load Runner. Mobile application testing – iOS/Android. ADA/accessibility testing. Performance and load testing. Secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).Important: Candidates must be local to the Lansing, MI area (within 90 miles) and available to work onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.
