What you'll do: Host karaoke league nights and/or trivia events at partner venues across [DC / Northern VA / Montgomery County / Columbia, MD]. Keep energy high, run smooth events, engage players and audiences, and represent The Regular with personality and professionalism.
What we're looking for: Natural performers and people people. Someone who's comfortable with a mic and can think on their feet. Prior hosting, performing, teaching, or entertainment experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person. What you'll get$20 to $30 per hour depending on experience. Flexible scheduling built around your life. A community of people who genuinely love what they do. And honestly a really fun job.
About us: The Regular is an entertainment company running competitive karaoke, trivia, bocce, and esports leagues across multiple cities. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
