About the role

The City of Garland seeks a Radio Communications Technician to install and maintain electronic equipment in city vehicles and the radio infrastructure. You will perform installations, repairs, and system maintenance, and mentor technicians on projects. Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience; a four-year degree and extensive radio programming knowledge are preferred. The role includes on-call support and collaboration with vendors.
