Screen PrinterThis position prioritizes the following tasks: Operating press to register screens and print ink to shirt using plastisol and waterbased inksTaking ownership for all assigned print jobs, from setup to takedownProperly managing and prioritizing print jobs throughout the dayMaintain highest standards of company print processes, quality, and proceduresDirecting your team (Press Assistant and QCS) through the processes while maintaining an encouraging, positive attitude and adhering to the highest quality standardsTaking communication initiative with appropriate departments (sales, art, ink, shipping, procurement, screens, etc.) to quickly resolve any printing issuesBe available to help work through the day's schedule, not just assigned jobsMinimize waste: must maintain proper shutdown and start up processes on all printing formatsThe person in this position must have the following characteristics: Patience and precision: resolving frustrations and issues with positivity and careCommunication: clearly articulating expectations and directions to teamLeadership: not allowing team to cut corners, holding team to high standards in following procedures and guidelines, coaching team towards improvementPride and ownership in work: setting the standards for timeliness, cleanliness, cooperation, communication, quality, and overall workplace attitude and performanceHunger to learn: continually striving to expand knowledge, experience, and improve processesTeachability: willing and able to adapt to new techniques and processes to improve efficiency
