About the role

Job Description: Lead corporate initiatives that may span multiple business areas and systems. Provide overall project leadership and management, including scope, budget, risk management, communications, implementation, and warranty. Take projects from initial conception through final implementation, or take over projects already in progress and drive them through successful completion. Define and document project scope, objectives, detailed project schedules, budget needs, and status reports. Confer with stakeholders, product owners, and other parties to establish schedules, dependencies, assignments, and clear project communication. Provide tactical and strategic input on planning and systems-related projects. Manage subcontractors and their workforce when applicable. Maintain project artifacts, including MS Project schedules and SharePoint sites, to support accurate and visible dashboarding. Report project status and health measurements through various communication methods to stakeholders and direct line management. Support Agile Enterprise Services through continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications: 5 years of professional experience leveraging computer technology and/or information systems, including 2 years of project management experience. Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and implementation. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications and suites, Windows Server, and networking applications. Strong understanding of systems best practices and quality improvement principles. Experience communicating with multiple levels of management. Effective risk and issue management. Exposure to Agile methodology. Experience in the health care or health insurance industry. Strong analytical skills and independent decision-making ability. Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints. Ability to understand, create, and manage project budgets using sound financial management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with systems research and analysis and creating and presenting business documentation. Experience working with and managing third parties. Knowledge of business requirements development and user acceptance testing. Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy. Ability to generate reports based on available data and make decisions based on reported data. Ability to facilitate and resolve customer requests and inquiries across management levels. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications: 8 years of progressive experience coordinating and managing enterprise-wide projects. Master's degree in Business or Information Systems, or demonstrable finance and accounting acumen. Agile Practitioner or Project Management Professional certification. Lean Enterprise or Continuous Improvement certification. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Advanced Microsoft Applications and Suites knowledge. Advanced SharePoint knowledge. Intermediate knowledge of BCBSAZ applications. Strong technical documentation skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language. Strong technical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of internal departments and operations. Pay Rate$46.02 to $61.36/hour
