Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: HQ - Dallas, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain our facility's infrastructure functionality, safety, and efficiency. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Diagnose and repair facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve problems to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Assist in managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies. Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related needs and projects.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus. Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications: OSHA certification or other relevant safety training. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
