Electrical Manufacturing Engineer – Santa Barbara, CA – On Site
Base Pay Range: $110,000 – $130,000 per year.

Hours: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday).Responsibilities
Lead enhancements to supply chain processes and resolve end‑of‑life issues for test equipment. Support AFM system control evolution through electronics design and prototyping. Evaluate alternative design approaches through analysis, modeling, and testing. Select components based on function, reliability, availability, and cost considerations. Develop test plans to verify performance against requirements.
Qualifications: BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years experience or MS with 2+ years experience. Experience in integration and verification of high‑performance analog designs. Proficiency in FPGAs/microprocessor programming, system controls, data acquisition, and analysis. Skills in troubleshooting electronic circuits at component level. Experience with PCB design, analysis, assembly, test, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with OrCAD/Cadence Allegro, Altera/Quartus, PSpice or similar tools. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manage BOMs.
Preferred Skills: Experience in electronic design for instrumentation or metrology involving high‑performance control and data acquisition. Knowledge of power supplies and high‑voltage designs. Familiarity with standards like IPC, ISO, CE (EMC & Safety).Experience managing third‑party contractors.
