This role focuses on interior automotive mechanisms such as cupholder doors, sliding armrests, glovebox systems, console lids, and storage solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in kinematics and compliance and excels at using simulation tools to optimize motion, durability, and overall product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanism Design and Optimization: Design and develop moving components including push-push systems, sliding mechanisms, hinges, gear trains, springs, and dampers. Ensure designs meet packaging, durability, quality, and performance requirements.
Multibody Simulation: Create and analyze dynamic models using tools such as Adams, MATLAB Simulink, or similar software to evaluate kinematic behavior and system performance. Virtual and Physical Validation Perform simulation and physical testing including FEA and hardware validation to confirm compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
Customer Collaboration: Serve as the technical subject matter expert, working closely with OEM customers and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
