We're partnering with a growing employee-owned engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex building systems projects across commercial, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, institutional, residential, and light industrial sectors. This is a highly visible role offering technical autonomy, direct client interaction, mentoring responsibilities, and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a respected engineering practice.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of building projects
- Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, and system layouts
- Design domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drainage, natural gas, medical gas, and specialty piping systems
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, contractors, and owners
- Prepare construction documents and support code compliance requirements
- Support construction administration and resolve design issues during project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Manage project schedules, priorities, and deliverables using Revit and AutoCADWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required 5+ years of experience designing building mechanical systems
- Strong HVAC and plumbing design experience
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCADExperience with HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and system coordination
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
- Consulting engineering experience preferred
