For individuals who enjoy hands-on work in Salisbury NC, this position involves stacking cardboard and assisting with general warehouse tasks. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality wooden pallets and cardboard angles. Your primary responsibilities will include: Measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden components to construct sturdy and durable pallets Operating power tools and machinery, such as saws, nail guns, and forklifts, to efficiently build pallets Inspecting completed pallets to ensure they meet quality standards Collaborating with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment To be successful in this position, you should have: Previous experience in a light industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably with pallet building or similar woodworking skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Proficiency in the use of power tools and machinery Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs This is a temporary-to-hire position with a starting pay rate of $18.84 per hour.
