Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions- Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other metrology tools- Analyze inspection data and accurately document results- Identify and document nonconforming products and assist with corrective actions- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation using computer systems- Participate in audits and quality system activities as needed- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures- Manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team Requirements for Quality Inspector:- Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents- Knowledge of measurement techniques and precision inspection equipment- Familiarity with GD&T and basic shop math preferred- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams- Experience with quality management systems or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
