Description
Purpose of the Position:
The Production Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production and/or assist in overall plant operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates in a high-speed production equipment.
- Safely performs: Operation of machinery
- Loading equipment with material
- Sanitation (Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area).Report any quality issues and or broken equipment's that will prevent or reduce waste to a supervisor, QC tech or mechanic.
- Must follow and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Will participate and complete all Company approved and required trainings.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required with at least one year related experience or Associates degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program preferred or any combination of education and experience. Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment operation
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and related regulations Physical Requirements:
- High Speed Bottling Manufacturing Facility may require prolonged periods working on feet, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
- Be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to safety.
