About the role
Sales Representative | Total Joint Reconstruction | Rochester, NYWe are actively looking to add an experienced sales professional to our Total Joint Reconstruction team in Rochester. This opportunity is best suited for someone with a demonstrated history of sales success, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. Prior orthopedic or medical device sales experience is strongly preferred, particularly within joint reconstruction. You’ll work closely with surgeons, hospital teams, and experienced sales representatives to support total joint procedures, grow existing business, and identify opportunities within the territory.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and key hospital stakeholders Support total joint reconstruction procedures, including case preparation, product and instrumentation support, and in-room execution Manage and grow business within assigned accounts and territory Identify new sales opportunities and help expand utilization across existing and prospective customers Coordinate case logistics to ensure implants, instruments, and equipment are prepared and available when needed Partner closely with internal operations, customer service, and sales leadership to execute at a high level Maintain strong clinical and product knowledge and serve as a trusted resource to customers Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings a proven sales mindset and knows how to build trust, create opportunities, and deliver results. You’re someone who: Has a successful track record in sales and can speak clearly to your results Builds strong, credible relationships with customers and key decision-makers Is competitive, self-directed, and motivated by growth Takes ownership and operates with urgency Is comfortable navigating complex accounts and multiple priorities Communicates effectively and remains composed in high-pressure environments Understands that long-term success comes from both strong selling and exceptional customer support What Is Required Bachelor’s degree required Proven professional sales experience Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong communication, relationship-building, and territory management skills Ability to work effectively in hospital and OR environments Flexibility to support cases and customer needs outside of traditional business hours as required
