The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales organization, developing and executing a go-to-market strategy, and building and maintaining executive relationships across the government and defense sectors. This role requires a technology-minded sales executive with a deep understanding of the national security and defense industrial base ecosystems, including military services, acquisition organizations, and various tiers of suppliers and contractors. The Area Vice President will be at the forefront of the company's mission to make the world a safer and more transparent place, with a focus on AI-powered risk intelligence, supply chain resilience, and software supply chain security. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, or technology sales, with a proven track record of success in the U.S. Federal Government and defense markets. The role demands a leader with a strong background in sales, including the ability to recruit, coach, and develop top talent, as well as a history of exceeding revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will have established executive relationships, a deep command of federal budgeting and acquisition cycles, and the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable business strategies. A strong technology and data fluency, experience with CRM and sales methodologies, and a willingness to travel are also essential.
