Duration: 3 Months Job Description: Assist other personnel in performing more complex and involved testing through test sample preparation, instrumentation and assisting with the tests as required Build wall and floor sections for use in firestop testing Prepare test samples for installation of penetrations by diamond coring, cutting, or other methods Install penetrations and firestop systems in test assemblies Complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner by maintaining work areas and assigned equipment in good working order Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor Adhere to Quality Philosophy of meeting customer needs and expectations by continual improvements of processes, assigned tasks, and related responsibilities Additional duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience in lab, mechanical testing, or related construction activities, preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety precautions, required Basic math skills (algebra, trigonometry), required Basic use of PC software (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred Ability to interpret drawings and sketches required Basic carpentry and metal working skills required Forklift license, required
