About the role

Electrical Control Panel Assembler Our client is seeking an Electrical Panel Builder / Electrical Assembler to build and wire custom industrial control panels. Blueprint and schematic reading is required. Candidates MUST be able to independently read, understand, and work from electrical blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings. These skills will be tested during the interview.

  • Electrical Control Panel Assembler Details:
  • Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.50 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings.
  • Build and wire electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and UL508A
components, connections, wire routing, and termination points. Mount components, route and terminate wiring, and crimp connections. Measure, drill, punch, and cut metal electrical enclosures. Use hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, crimping tools, and jigsaws. Assemble, label, and package finished products. Use ERP systems for production transactions. Electrical Control Panel Assembler Qualifications: Proven ability to independently read electrical blueprints and schematics is required. Must be able to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams and CAD assembly drawings. Previous electrical assembly, control panel wiring, panel building, or related technical experience required. Experience using electrical hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical computer skills. Ability to stand for an 8–10 hour shift. Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
