Job Description: Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Flint, MI is looking to hire an Order Administrator to be the first line of communication for our customers. Whether through providing exceptional customer service or resolving customer questions/concerns, this position is vital to the overall operational success of our company. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.Reason to work with us: Stability - We've been in business since 1848 Growth opportunities - Over 25 retail stores and upfit centers, and continued expansionNever Settle - We're committed to adapt, overcome, and continuously improveCollaborative, supportive, and engaging work environmentsNorth America's most popular manufacturer of work truck bodies and truck bedsWhat you will be doing: Create and monitor production delays and tickets itemizing impact to production scheduled unitsInteract with team members to receive and respond to customer and salespeople's inquiries in a timely mannerBe the primary contact point for sales people to obtain order, materials, and delivery status informationDevelop quotes for standard and custom truck equipment installationsOrganize and manage complex quote reviewsReport out updates for delays and holds on Fleet or Pool unitsResearch and source new equipment and components required for quotingManage chassis holds and releasesProvides applicable build options or solutions for delays and production stoppagesAdminister and report out build changes as updated per delays and stoppagesCoordinate with customers / dealers to obtain adequate information / estimatesCoordinate with Management to obtain approvals on order reviews from Fleet workCoordinate with Knapheide Manufacturing to obtain approval for manufacturing changesExperience you'll need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesHigh School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred
