2026 Summer Internship - Strategic Implementation A Career with Point72’s Strategic Implementation Team
The Strategic Implementation Team at Point72 is responsible for leading complex cross-functional initiatives at our firm. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced program managers and engage with leaders across Strategy, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to execute projects that support the growth of our businesses.
About the Strategic Implementation Internship
Learning the end-to-end program cycle and project management best practices will provide key skills that you can leverage across a variety of roles throughout your career. During the 10‑week program based in our New York City office, you will gain exposure to:
A small and collaborative team to gain a foundational understanding of strategic initiatives within a global company
Coordinating, developing meeting materials, and executing deliverables for top firm initiatives while working in conjunction with business units
Collaborating with representatives from functions across the firm to create detailed project plans and timelines
The development and deployment of the strategic operating model
Supporting workstream meetings with stakeholders
Documenting current state and conducting root‑cause analysis, and partnering with stakeholders to develop solutions
Supporting development playbooks for key activities
Summer Internship Program at Point72
In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day‑to‑day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:
Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
Get hands on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day
Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Technology
What’s required
Expected bachelor’s degree (Fall2026 or Spring2027)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary is $75,000 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
