About the role

To support and grow the Transportation Practice, the full-time Ohio Licensed Roadway Design Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers, with the option for fully remote work for candidates located in North Carolina. Key responsibilitiesPerform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinating design activitiesRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering 4+ years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design Experience working with DOT design projects; familiarity with NCDOT or ODOT is a plus PE preferred or the ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire Experience with Micro Station, Geopak, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) design software preferred
