About the role
Retail Shopping Center Property Manager Needed, total portfolio 1 million square feet in southeast Work in corporate office and travel to visit properties all in the southeast.
Core Responsibilities:
• Own overall appearance, maintenance condition, and tenant relations for all assigned properties.• Provide day-to-day guidance on assets• Track and approve project approvals across the portfolio; escalate items outside authority to the VP, Property Management or VP Construction.• Source, vet, and maintain a qualified vendor/contractor base for portfolio projects.• Verify scope of work for capital and maintenance projects.• Maintain accurate records in Yardi (accounting/property management), M-Files (document management), and Salesforce (CRM/tracking).• Maintain working knowledge of landlord responsibilities: rent commencement dates, lease interpretation, tenant buildouts, and turnover timelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.• 5+ years of commercial real estate property management experience required; retail/shopping center experience required.• CPM, RPA, or equivalent industry certification a plus.• Proficiency with Yardi, M-Files, and Salesforce, or equivalent property management, document management, and CRM platforms.• Strong working knowledge of landlord/tenant lease obligations, CAM, and lease administration basics.
