Job Description: Job Description We are looking for a Mechanicto join our team working at our main yard in Pearsall. You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and travel to locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Repair fleet trucks, rental trucks and fleet owned trailers
  • Repair heavy equipment such as backhoes, air compressors, skidsteers, etc.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle & equipment components
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to working conditions
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years as a mechanic, prefer ASE certified for medium/heavy trucks
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
