Telecommunications Design Engineer Semiconductor and Data Center Projects Telecommunications Design Engineer Semiconductor and Data Center Projects About the Role We are looking for a Telecommunications Systems Engineer excited about designing the systems that power the heart of our clients' business. You will own telecom scope on very large, complex projects, working alongside other telecom design professionals and supporting design staff to produce challenging design packages.You will work within a single integrated design team, coordinating directly with architects and engineers across every discipline, and you will interface directly with client counterparts to design facilities that meet their needs. What You Will Design Our teams use AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines. Through a mix of full 3D BIM delivery, construction specifications, and 2D sheets, you will help lead the design of:Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructureInter-building and intra-building backbone distribution systemsCommunication room layouts and rack elevationsWired and wireless device plansCable schedulesAll designs and calculations follow the NEC, applicable TIA standards, and applicable client and project specifications. What You Need Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree4+ years of experience in the telecommunications design and construction industryWorking knowledge of TIA standards and BICSI design practicesWorking knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirementsExperience leading a telecommunications design teamKnowledge of design and construction specificationsExperience estimating and scheduling small to medium projects Nice to Have 3+ years of telecom design experience in semiconductor or data center facilitiesOne or more of these certifications: RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPMProject management experienceWorking knowledge of Revit or other 3D BIM softwareDesign experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systemsKnowledge of control systems and network topologyVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.Compensation details: 38-53 Hourly WagePI6da6-
