About the role
Title: HPC Platform Engineer
Location:
Remote Contract Key Responsibilities Vendor interface · You will interact with our hardware vendors and ensure the right golden images are installed on our systems, including Base OS, drivers and libraries.· You will document and maintain the O/S versions, libraries, and drivers installed on the system· You will design and maintain Hardware Tests to ensure system functionality and integrity before delivery to end customer --??· Partner with the vendor to detect GPU, interconnect, memory, and node-level hardware issues and help deliver solutions to end customers Middleware Development and maintanance· Define and create value added software to help customer IT teams optimize platform utilizationo User access and authenticationo Job queue managemento Data security and containerization application stacks (e.g., Apptainer/Singularity)o License administrationo Work with customers to understand and develop additional value added features Required Qualifications• Hands-on experience and familiarity with HPC platforms from leading providers such as Nvidia, AMD• Experience configuring and supporting GPU-accelerated systems• Strong Linux systems knowledge (RHEL-like environments preferred)• Experience building repeatable system configurations (images, automation, or containers)• Working knowledge of high-performance networking concepts• Ability to debug issues spanning hardware, OS, drivers, MPI, applications, and connectivity Preferred Qualifications• Experience with workload schedulers (e.g., Slurm, LSF, PBS)• Familiarity with containerized HPC workflows• Exposure to cloud or hybrid HPC environments• Scripting or automation experience (bash, Python)
