CONTROLLERInternational Multi-Entity Holding Company | New York, NY | 5 Days In Office An international holding company is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting across a complex portfolio of 10+ entities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining the integrity of the consolidated financials while partnering with senior leadership on financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting across 10+ domestic and international entities Manage the monthly close process and preparation of consolidated financial statements Lead multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, and elimination entries Own and analyze P&L performance, providing management with insight into financial results and variances Review budgets and forecasts and partner with leadership on financial planning Prepare and present financial reporting, including monthly management reporting and key financial metrics Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Partner with senior leadership on financial analysis, business performance, and strategic decision-making Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Controller or senior accounting leadership experience Strong experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations Proven ability to manage P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems Experience working within an international or multi-jurisdictional organization preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadership
