About the role

IDEATE Medical is looking for a proven medical device sales professional who wants to build something. We are commercializing an innovative endoscope sterilization technology and are looking for Regional Sales Managers who can open doors, create demand, navigate complex hospital sales cycles, and consistently close business. This is not a maintenance territory. This is a growth role for someone who enjoys building a market, competing for business, and introducing new technology into hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
The Opportunity: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will own the commercial development of your territory and be responsible for driving adoption of IDEATE Medical’s technology across hospitals and ASCs in the following states: Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine You will work with customers across: Sterile Processing Endoscopy Infection Prevention Operating Room Supply Chain Value Analysis Biomedical Engineering Executive leadership You will manage the entire sales process—from prospecting and discovery through evaluation, contracting, installation, and account expansion. What You’ll Own Territory revenue and quota attainment New account development Capital equipment pipeline creation Customer presentations and product demonstrations Clinical evaluations and technology assessments Value Analysis and capital approval processes Competitive conversionsIDN and strategic account development Forecasting and CRM accuracy Territory strategy and market development Who We’re Looking For We are interested in high-performing sales professionals with experience in: Medical device sales Capital equipment Sterile Processing Endoscopy Infection Prevention Operating Room technologies Endoscope reprocessing Sterilization or high-level disinfection Ideal candidates will have:5+ years of successful medical device or healthcare capital sales experienceA demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding quota Experience selling complex products into hospitals Strong relationships with clinical and operational stakeholders Experience navigating Value Analysis Committees and capital approval processes Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills The ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment Willingness to travel approximately 50–70%Why IDEATE Medical?
