About the role

Bridgeville Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join a team of exceptional veterinary professionals, committed to medical and surgical excellence in an empathetic, warm and friendly environment. We offer diverse and challenging cases, with manageable caseloads, a flexible schedule, and a commitment to maintaining a healthy work/life balance. In addition to a generous salary and bonuses, Bridgeville Animal Hospital offers full benefits including 100% of medical, vision, dental and a Roth IRA package where the employer matches up to 3%.The clinic has good bones. It was incorporated in October of 2000, so we’re almost 26 years old! The staff is so talented and kind, most have been here 5+-10+ years. When you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting and calm...filled with the love we all feel for the clients and patients. Our clients are faces and names, not numbers. We are very close to the interstate (I79,) and have free and safe off-street parking. We want to hire someone who may have an interest in maybe buying the clinic in the future. Corporate is not invited.
Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and an active, or eligible, Pennsylvania veterinary license. Demonstrated clinical skills in small animal medicine, routine surgery (such as spay/neuter and soft tissue procedures), and basic dentistry. Ability to perform and interpret common diagnostic procedures, including laboratory testing, radiography, and other imaging as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff. Commitment to compassionate, fear-free, or low-stress handling of animals and adherence to best-practice medical standards. Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including accurate medical recordkeeping and efficient case management. Willingness to participate in continuing education, learn new techniques, and adapt to practice protocols and evolving standards of care. Previous experience in general small animal practice is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training and mentorship interest are also encouraged to apply. If you're interested in joining us in the next exciting phase of our journey, please send a resume to bridgevilleanimalhospital@gmail.com.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
