About the opportunity:
JCW has partnered with a leading international banking as they search for an Analyst level professional to support its Leveraged & Structured Finance team. This is a hands-on role for an early-career finance professional who wants direct exposure to live financing transactions, portfolio management, and senior-level reporting. You'll work closely with the team lead and gain a practical view of how complex deals are executed and monitored. This is a chance to build real experience in leveraged and structured finance, working under close guidance from experienced professionals at a global institution. Locations: Washington D.C, (preferred) or New York City
Responsibilities include:
Supporting transaction execution – gather and validate deal information, prepare draft materials and trackers, and keep milestones and closing deliverables on schedule. Assist with financial analysis – spread financial statements, calculate key credit metrics, update approved models, and run data checks and sensitivity updates. Monitoring the portfolio – maintain covenant trackers, maturity schedules, and pipeline reports, and prepare portfolio review packs for management. Work across teams – coordinate with Coverage, Credit, Legal, Tax, Credit Administration, and Operations to keep transactions moving.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or current advanced-stage study) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field 2+ years’ experience in banking, corporate finance, credit, real estate finance, transaction support, or financial analysis (preferred).Foundational knowledge of accounting, financial statements, credit concepts, and financial modeling. Strong working proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
