About the role

Human Resources Leader Fleet Farm is seeking a strategic, field-focused HR leader to serve as the senior Human Resources partner for an assigned district. This role is responsible for translating enterprise people strategy into strong, consistent execution across multiple stores and distribution centers. As a player–coach, you will lead a team of HR Generalists while serving as a trusted advisor to District and Regional Operations leaders. This role requires strong judgment, executive presence, and deep expertise in employee relations, talent development, and workforce Responsibilities:Lead Field HR Team: Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Generalists while establishing clear expectations, priorities, and standards for field HR execution. Partner on Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and field leadership to anticipate hiring needs, address talent risks, and develop proactive recruiting strategies based on business needs. Manage Employee Relations & Risk: Serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters and oversee sensitive investigations, partnering with Legal and senior HR leadership as needed. Ensure HR Compliance & Consistency: Interpret and apply HR policies consistently across the district, identify gaps, and support implementation of new or updated HR practices. Drive Talent & Leadership Development: Lead district talent initiatives including succession planning, talent reviews, 360 feedback, leadership development, and performance management.
