Role Description:
The Human Resources Manager at Capstone Logistics, Inc. is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing key HR functions that support a distributed workforce. Daily activities include managing employee relations issues, providing guidance to leaders on HR policies, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes. The role also involves maintaining HR documentation, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and assisting with benefits and leave administration. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with other departments to support training initiatives, foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and contribute to HR process improvements and systems optimization.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in core HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.
Knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance, with experience maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
Ability to support recruitment and onboarding activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and new hire orientation.
Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across remote teams.
Proficiency with HRIS or HR management systems, plus familiarity with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, videoconferencing platforms).Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred but not required.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational environment is an advantage.
