Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a Diesel Trailer Mechanic to support a centralized fleet department and small maintenance crew. This shop-based role services a mixed fleet, including flatbeds, tankers, tractors, and trailers, with a balanced focus on preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fleet inspections.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on flatbeds, tankers, tractors, and trailers. Complete preventive maintenance and fleet inspections. Diagnose and repair trailer brake systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Service and repair hydraulic systems. Support breakdown repairs in a shop-based environment. Maintain parts inventory for fleet maintenance operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of diesel and trailer maintenance experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with trailer brake systems, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems. Welding and fabrication experience. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and diagnostic software. Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience as a mechanic working with trailers.
