About the role
Nuclear Medicine Supervisor The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor performs responsible administrative, supervisory, and advanced technical work that requires an advanced level of job knowledge in the Nuclear Medicine Department. In addition to all of the other duties and responsibilities of other nuclear medicine technical staff, this position must have the ability to recognize, anticipate, and solve problems in a prompt and efficient manner. The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor must have the ability to supervise, guide employees, and deal effectively with administrative and professional personnel of other departments. Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by CNMT and/or AART(N).Associate's degree and/or Baccalaureate degree preferred.
Minimum of three years' experience as a staff technologist.
Current AHA BLS certification.
The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/ area's/ department's policies and procedures.
