About the role

Your future role on our team As a Mineral Processing Leader, you’ll provide technical leadership and strategic direction for metallurgical and process design activities across all project phases. You’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, support project execution and ensure that processing solutions are optimized for performance, operability and cost efficiency. You’ll play a key role in supporting our growth in the U.S. market, particularly in projects involving mineral processing, heap leach and hydrometallurgical processes. You’ll also occasionally visit client sites, support business development efforts and mentor junior engineers to support team growth. Type of position: Regular Key responsibilities Lead process engineering activities for projects, from studies through to detailed engineering and commissioning Lead or contribute to projects as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team Serve as the technical authority on mineral processing and extractive metallurgy design and operation Drive process optimization by improving recovery, throughput and operational reliability Oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective and high‑quality solutions Advise clients on process design, performance improvement and operational strategies Provide guidance on the development and analysis of metallurgical testwork programs to support flowsheet design Lead the preparation of key process design deliverables (mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, design criteria and technical specifications) Support business development by contributing to proposals and strengthening client relationships Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers to enhance team capabilities Core qualities and values Entrepreneurial spirit Results‑driven Desire to motivate and train the next generation Inspirational leadership Ability to share and pass on knowledge Interest in solving the most complex challenges Summary of certifications and requirements Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, chemical or process engineering From 12 to over 20 years of experience in mineral processing or extractive metallurgy within mining or EPCM environments Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects Experience supporting feasibility studies, due diligence work, large‑scale EPCM or capital projects Strong background in process modelling and simulation tools (e.g. JKSimMet, Molycop, LIMN, Bruno, Metsim etc.) Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona, Nevada and eligible states Available for occasional to frequent travel (site visits, commissioning) Asset: strong experience in heap leach systems (gold, copper or similar) Asset: bilingual (Spanish or French) Benefits Annual premium program for regular employees Group insurance plan from the first day of employment 401(k) retirement plan Annual paid time off (PTO) Statutory holidays Premium for employee referrals Opportunity to mentor our next generation: We invest in our people and help them develop A corporate culture that values expertise Participation in innovation projects Promotion of our experts (SMEs), both externally and internally A flexible schedule that combines office presence and working from home A caring environment where everyone’s ideas are listened to and there’s no perception of hierarchy A growing business with many opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
