About the role

Venturity is seeking a Controller level Project / Implementation Director. This is a GREAT position for someone who has the technical accounting expertise and thrives on client interaction. As a Project / Implementation Director, you will lead a team that is responsible for on-boarding new clients – hosting implementation meetings with clients, creating and managing project plans, managing team capacity and scheduling workflow, and leading/performing complex projects and accounting tasks.Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting required.Must have 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience.Experience with multi-company businessExperience in expanding, fast growing organizations.Strong technical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus.Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required.Prior leadership or Controllership experience preferred.Knowledge/SkillsAdvanced Excel skillsExtremely detail oriented with high degree of accuracy in all aspects of reporting and communicationWillingness to lead, train and develop othersAbility to effectively communicate financial concepts and dataA goal-oriented, collaborative team playerProfessional approach to work, strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindsetAbility to adapt to multiple accounting systemsGood organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on scheduleOutstanding written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with clients)Good organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule.Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to train and develop others.Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and data.A goal-oriented, collaborative team player who possesses hard work and winning as a team mentality.Professional approach to work, strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindsetAbility to adapt to and learn multiple accounting systems.Extremely detail oriented with high degree of accuracy in all aspects of reporting and communication
