Receptionist ALM-Huntsville Al Corps - Huntsville, AL 35810 Start Date 08/17/2026 End Date 08/31/2026 Overview Salary Range $12.93 - $12.93 Hourly Category Admin Support About This Opportunity Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm This is a temporary position. This position is responsible for: Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and directs calls to the appropriate destination; records accurate and complete messages when necessary; receives and receipts deliveries and donations; greets and announces visitors and clients; provides general information about The Salvation Army's operations and services; performs routine clerical work such as typing and filing. Key Responsibilities: Answers the phone and transfers calls to appropriate destination Receives, greets, and announces visitors Receives, responds to, and assists people requesting social service assistance Helps to schedule donation pick-ups Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to operate a phone Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like What We Are Looking For In You Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities.
