The Malcom Randall VAMC provides a full range of comprehensive health care, including primary care, specialty care, tertiary care, and long term care.
Location: 1601 Southwest Archer Road, Gainesville FL 32608 Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):Decontaminate, sterilize and assemble dental and/or surgical instrument sets and reprocessing flexible endoscopes Maintain, store and packing of reusable medical equipment (RME) as well as document sterilization and decontamination processes Examine condition of supply items Assemble/Package/Wraps/Sterilize supply items Distribute items to wards, clinic units or operating rooms Receive, store, control supply item stock
Requirements:
  • Certified Surgical Tech or Certified Sterilization TechCBSPD CertificationIAHCSMM Certified or CRCST Certified
  • At least 1 year of experience in related field
  • Direct work experience working in a healthcare setting with Dental and/or surgical instrumentation and endoscopes
